There are many ways to find work. The “mega-sites” like Monster and Career Builder represent only one approach. Different industries and employers take different approaches to recruiting, so it’s important that you know how the hiring process works for new college grads in your field. Accordingly, you might want to focus on ToreroLink, specialized online job sites, networking, job postings on professional association websites, USD Career Expo contacts, staffing agencies, visiting the job postings on employers’ websites, applying in person , etc. Schedule an appointment with a career counselor.
