Should I wear a business suit to Career Expo?
Okay, in a previous blog you say to wear a business suit to a job interview. But what about the Career Expo that’s scheduled for Thursday? It’s going to be a pain to dress up because I have classes before and after the event that day.

Including a Writing Sample in a Job Application
Hi,
I was recently looking at a company's website and saw that in order to apply for a position they required not only a resume and a cover letter, but also a writing sample. I was wondering if you could give me an idea of what an appropriate writing sample could be.
Thanks.

What to wear to a job interview
Please settle a disagreement between my girlfriend and me. She says I should always dress in “formal interview attire” for a job interview. I say it depends. If I know that everyone in a certain organization dresses in business casual, or even in jeans, I think dressing in a business suit makes me look like I don’t understand “the corporate culture.” Plus I don’t want to be better dressed than the interviewer. I’ve seen job fair recruiters wearing polo shirts. Who’s right?
