Contacting an Organization That Does Not Post Jobs

There’s a small company I’d really like to work for, but they don’t post any jobs on their website and I can’t find any jobs on Indeed or any other job sites.  How do I apply for a job with them?

Organizations have many ways of hiring new talent – and some do not post jobs online. You can certainly reach out to the organization with a well-crafted “prospecting letter.” Introduce yourself, explain how you can contribute to the organization, and express your strong interest in joining the organization.

You can also try to identify current employees through networking sites such as LinkedIn, and ask for their recommendations regarding employment with the organization.
