Is it really important that I keep my resume to one page? I've got about 10 extra lines I just can't squeeze onto one page.

This is probably out most commonly asked question.
Although there are exceptions (usually with Teacher resumes, resumes for students returning to college after years of work experience, and resumes for graduate school applications that contain extensive amount of research experience), almost all new college graduates should create a one-page resume. Regardless of the amount of experience you have, this can be done by being concise, focusing on your most impressive and relevant skills and experiences, and adjusting the font size, spacing and margins.
